WJETS is thrilled to offer members access to the Online Apprentice Support Initiatives for Success (OASIS) Program.

As part of this program there is a complimentary tool called the Virtual Learning Strategist (VLS) which is a customized learning system to help YOU, the apprentice, get through the testing phase of your journey to becoming a certified electrician.

Do you have anxiety when taking tests? Do you have a diagnosed or even an undiagnosed learning disability? Reading issues? Let us help! Your IBEW training center has secured this tool for YOU.

The program and content delivered is 100% customizable depending on the apprentices needs. Our top interventions used are:
 Study Skills
 Test taking strategies
 Technical Tutoring
 Learning disability specific interventions
 Exam accommodations based on need and eligibility and so much more.

There are no set schedules, no specific number of hours required. Your designated learning specialist, who knows the curriculum, will work with YOU when YOU require it!

Typically to get started most will meet virtually with their learning strategist 1-2 times a week for 30-45 minutes and less frequently as they go along. It is completely at your pace and on your timeline.

Contact your IBEW Training coordinator (230 Cory, 993 Chris or 1003 Ray) to find out how you can access the VLS system to assist you with your progress as an IBEW apprentice and get customized support all the way through to Red Seal Certification.
