A Leadership and Supervision training course designed to equip current and aspiring leaders with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to guide teams effectively and achieve operational goals.

This course will explore the foundations of leadership—understanding different leadership styles, identifying personal strengths, and recognizing how behaviour influences workplace culture. Participants learn how to establish clear expectations,
communicate with clarity, and build trust within their teams.

A key focus of the course is effective supervision. Participants develop practical skills such as task delegation, performance monitoring, conflict resolution, providing constructive feedback, making decisions, motivating employees, and addressing challenges before they escalate.

The course also emphasizes emotional intelligence, helping leaders understand how to manage their own reactions while supporting others. Topics such as coaching techniques, accountability systems, and fostering a safe, inclusive work environment are explored in depth.

We will also explore topics such as Environment, Health and Safety, Bill C-45 (legal ramifications of being a Supervisor), Required Forms (such as Permits/FLHAs), Progress/Productivity and Planning, Labour Relations/Discipline, The Canadian Model(post-incident testing) and ITPs (QAQC).

By the end of the program, participants gain a deeper understanding of what it means to lead with integrity, set a positive example, and create a high-performing team. The training provides both the strategic mindset and hands-on tools required to successfully supervise others and contribute to long-term success as a Leader and a Supervisor.
