Background:
The Canadian construction and maintenance industry is committed to building respectful and inclusive workplaces. This Gold Seal accredited course is offered through a partnership with NETCO and is Funded in Part by the Government of Canada’s Union Training and Innovation Program.  The goal of this course is to add career enhancing skills to your ‘toolkit’ and equip you with the success required to create a respectful and inclusive workplace. This workplace environment will benefit all parties based on the elimination of discrimination and harassment, constructive communication, teamwork, and mentorship. This course uses interactive elements, scenarios, videos, and quizzes to reinforce learning.
Program:
Credits/Certificates
This course has been accredited by the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) which will provide one (1) credit towards Gold Seal Certification upon successful completion of all course requirements. A final grade of 100% is required to receive a certificate of completion.

Successful completion of course requirements will provide:

• Effective communication among team members with varying lifestyles and experiences
• Inclusive and respectful workplaces for all team members
• Inclusive decision making and problem-solving techniques.

Structure and Workload:
This course consists of 8 lessons, with an estimated total duration of 3 hours of self-paced instruction. You will be expected complete the course at your own pace within the 2 week period.
