COMET (Construction Organizing Membership Education Training) educates union members on the “whys” and “hows” of organizing to maintain and improve wages and benefits
This training course helps educate all of our members about the importance of organizing with strategies on growing our market share and building our union so we have more opportunities for work.
- To understand why every local union in the IBEW must organize unrepresented electrical workers.
- To understand why it is essential for every member to assist in the local union’s organizing effort
COMET is a mandatory course for IBEW members; however, we do NOT expect you to take time off work or school to attend.
You do not need to bring anything to class or wear anything specific. Coffee and donuts will be available for a break mid-way through.
