This is an online course that offers both synchronous instructor-led tutorials and a self-paced (asynchronous) review to help you prepare for writing the Inter-Provincial (IP) Red Seal exam. It is intended to provide you with challenge questions, content review, and reference materials for areas you may wish to improve upon. In addition, this course will provide you with effective exam writing strategies and study techniques.
Please note that the online course is meant to be used in conjunction with group tutoring. You will receive the course site information and online group tutoring session links shortly after registration. Group tutoring is currently held on MS Teams every Wednesday evening from 6pm- 8pm (subject to change). If you have not received this information and have registered, please email izabelle@wjets.ca

- • Browser support o Moodle is compatible with any standards compliant desktop web browsers, however the newest supported and safe browsers are recommended: Chrome 8x or later Safari 14 or later Edge Version 122 or later Note: Moodle 4.1 does NOT support Internet Explorer 11. Note: add-ons and toolbars can affect any browser's performance. o It is recommended that mobile users use the Moodle Mobile app to access courses. • Cookies o Moodle requires support for cookies in your web browser. • Javascript o Moodle needs Javascript to work in the browser. • Pop-up windows o Moodle uses pop-up windows for instance in quizzes. Please enable pop-up windows for Moodle. • Security o With all firewalls, ensure that you enable uploading of files. o Some Anti-virus programs have been known to cause issues in older operating systems and/or older web browsers. • Internet speed o Use a broadband connection through USB wireless modem, ADSL2+, T1/T2, fibre optic or cable with the speed: Viewing lecture recordings or conferencing - at least 5MB/sec Viewing images and webpages - at least 2MB/sec o Dial-up access will be significantly slower, and we do not recommend it for using Moodle.
