IBEW Local 993 Hall (Kamloops)
- Identify best practice Regulations that address shock and arc flash hazards
- List the personal protective equipment required for shock protection
- List the steps to achieve an electrically safe work condition
- Explain what an arc flash is and the injuries that can result
- Identify when an arc flash hazard exists
- Select appropriate personal protective equipment for arc flash hazards
- Describe methods of selecting arc flash PPE using the new 2015 Tables.
- Care & washing instructions; Arc rated PPE
Required Items:
- Pen and Paper
- • Review in advance the Policies, Procedures and COVID Waiver prior to in class training. Forms will be presented at the hall and must be signed by all members before training takes place. Member must adhere to social distancing and other Safety Protocols as provided per Local 993, WCB and instructor.
Location: IBEW Local 993 Hall
The IBEW Local 993 Hall has a large fenced yard around the back of the building.
