Heat Trace Introduction and Installation (Kamloops)

IBEW Local 993 Hall (Kamloops)

This ‘hands-on’ course offers the RSE participant an opportunity to
learn the most effective and efficient practices of installing
electrical heat trace cable. While using self regulating cable, the
participant will trace elbows, pipe supports, pipe flanges, valves
and a pump. Once the trace is installed and secured, installation of
the end-of-circuit termination kit and working back toward the
power supply is completed.

A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of this
course.

WJETS is pleased to have the ability to resume in-person training with the recommended communicable disease prevention protocols in place during Phase 3 of British Columbia’s Restart Plan. In registering for this course you, the participant, agree to advise your Training Coordinator and stay home in the event that any of the following statements apply: o You are unwell or have been in contact with anyone unwell within the past 14 days; o you, or anyone with whom you are in close contact have travelled internationally over the past 14 days; o you have (or have provided care/had close contact with a person who has) a confirmed (or presumptive, i.e. probable) case of COVID-19 or any other communicable disease within the last 14 days; o you have not been following all Public Health Orders and restrictions currently in place; and/or o you are not willing to follow the guidelines set by WJETS to keep members, staff and instructors safe.

The IBEW Local 993 Hall has a large fenced yard around the back of the building.
